Lorna Myers is the founder and Executive Director of Kimane Cosmetics, which is headquartered in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Born in St. Andrew, Jamaica on May 30, 1962, Lorna migrated to the Cayman Islands in 1982. She is the mother of two children, Zena and Kimane. The company is named after her son.
   Prior to becoming a Certified Esthetician and Makeup Artist, Lorna worked for the national airline of the Cayman Islands, Cayman Airways. She joined Cayman Airways in 1986 as a junior flight attendant and became a senior staff member in 1991. After 12 years of service with Cayman Airways, Lorna retired early in 1998 to devote full-time efforts to Kimane Cosmetics.

Lorna was crowned Mrs. Cayman Islands Universal in 1996, Mrs. All Nations Mondial (Mrs. World) in 1997 and the World's Perfect Petite Lady in 1998. During the past three years, she has served as a beauty pageant judge for local, state, and international competitions throughout the United States. She has also made dozens of personal appearances and is actively involved in community services for charity events.
   Lorna obtained her bachelor's degree in Business Administration with honors in 1995 from the International College of the Cayman Islands. She received her Esthetics' Certification from the Face Place Institute in Kingston, Jamaica. Ms. Myers is an accomplished Makeup Artist and obtained her license in Makeup from the Makeup Institute of San Francisco. In addition, she completed advanced esthetics training seminars and workshops at the recently held Esthetics, Cosmetics and Spa Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also holds certification in a variety of specialized areas such as skin analysis, hyperpigmentation,couperose and acne treatments through the Aesthetics International Association(AIA) in Toronto, Canada. Her advanced training includes an exposure to plastic,cosmetic, and reconstructive surgeons and board certified dermatologists. She ha also worked with makeup artists with expertise in film, TV and stage application.
   In her own words, Lorna believes that "every woman should strive to maintain unique identify." She has been excited by the consumer response to her product line and notes that "using Kimane skin care and cosmetics gives my clients the confidence to face each day positively. As I like to tell them, "Let's face it, you deserve it."
